Agile Journey

March 2011 we decided that we will transform from an waterfall approach to Agile, and lord behold next day we were 'Agile'. Were we Agile from day one -- NO. Transitioning to a new methodology is gradual and so we took our own time. I would rather say we are still learning. We started learning new words - Scrum, XP, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, Acceptance Test and so on...

If you ask me, it was a great decision to change the way we do work, things have changed a lot, people who were working in Silo's of there teams have started taking notice of what others teams are doing to make sure everyone is in sync on the Product we work on. We follow a Scaled Version of Agile since we have teams spread across two continents - yes you got it - Offshore-Onshore model...

...So what our main customers are spread across the globe...
...So what our we are a global team... These are only namesake problems --

Key is communication...
Key is better co-ordination with Product Manager...
